Both narrow-angle and wide-angle panel-mounted thermal array sensors are readily available. AMG8854M01 is a surface mount modular narrow-angle 8px x 8px (64 pixels) high-precision microelectromechanical system (MEMS) IR array, which runs on a standard 5V power supply and uses a simple I 2 C 5 for connection-pin connector (figure 1).
